Also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, District of New Jersey, Eastern and Northern Districts of Pennsylvania and Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Experience

For over 25 years, Mr. Paone has served as lead counsel in numerous trials and many appeals.  He handles complex, high exposure, and high-profile cases, providing incisive counsel and guidance to clients and their primary and excess insurers.  In representing clients and insurers, Mr. Paone has achieved positive results in many types of liability and commercial cases entailing a wide variety of areas of law throughout the pre-suit, litigation, trial, arbitration and mediation stages. These include first-party, third-party and excess insurance coverage disputes, coverage counseling, bad faith claims, insurance fraud investigation and litigation, construction accidents, construction defects, property damage, subrogation, product liability, toxic tort, professional liability (design professionals, insurance agents, claims professionals and investment advisors), director and officer liability, medical malpractice, civil rights, employment, lender liability, environmental and business tort claims. Mr. Paone has clerked for an appellate court judge in Pennsylvania and served as a judge in regional ABA-sponsored moot court competitions.
